The Caribbean Sustainable Energy Programme (C-SEP) is a the European Union Energy Initiative (EUEI) funded sustainable Energy Project which commenced in 2008 and is executed by the Energy Division of the Organization of American States (OAS) with CARICOM Secretariat as a key partner. The Target countries are Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, the Bahamas, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The Project seeks to facilitate the adoption of energy policies and legislation in the seven Project Countries pertaining to address the market conditions for the development and use of renewable energy and energy efficiency systems by mitigating the barriers to their use
The objectives of CSEP are therefore in line with the broader objectives of the CARICOM Energy Programme. The CARICOM Energy Programme works closely with the OAS on the execution of this Project and seeks to ensure that project activities are coordinated with other programmes, initiatives and activities in CARICOM Energy Sector given that the targeted countries are CARICOM countries .
