The Caribbean Information Portal on Renewable Energy, (CIPORE) was launched in April 2009 by the Caribbean Energy Information System (CEIS). This was one of the outputs of the CREDP Project funded by the GEF, implemented by UNDP and executed by the CARICOM Secretariat.
CIPORE has been designed:
• as a 'one-stop shop' for all information on renewable energy in the Caribbean.
• As a platform for sharing all relevant information on RE in the Region. It allows for direct exchange of views and information e.g. discussion groups, on-line meetings.
• To serves a wide cross section of user groups e.g. students, researchers, investors, policy maker, academics. Information is provided on each of thirteen CREDP participating countries in the CEIS Network.
General users are encouraged to provide information to the portal focal points through a simple on-line access system. Visit CIPORE at : http://www.cipore.org
