On the margins of the 30th Inter-Sessional Meeting of CARICOM Heads of Government, the Chairman, Prime Minister Dr Timothy Harris of St Kitts and Nevis on Tuesday witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of the West Indies (UWI) and the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA).
The MOU will aim at strengthening evidence-informed Health Services and Policy decision-making through Training and Research.
UWI was represented by Vice Chancellor Professor Hillary Beckles and CARPHA by Executive Director Dr James Hospidales. CARICOM Secretary-General Ambassador Irwin LaRocque also witnessed the signing.
