OPM, Trinidad and Tobago – Prime Minister Dr the Hon Keith Rowley departed for Barbados this morning where he will participate in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago.
The agreement, which will be signed tomorrow (Saturday 24 August, 2019), is related to cooperation in energy development for hydrocarbons that extend across the maritime boundary of both territories.
The Prime Minister will be joined by the Hon. Franklin Khan, Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, the Hon. Dennis Moses, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs and the Hon Allyson West, Minister of Public Administration and Minister in the Ministry of Finance.
The Hon Colm Imbert, Minister of Finance, will act as Prime Minister until Dr Rowley’s return.
