Caribbean Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Serious Criminal Matters

Objectives

The purpose of this Treaty is to increase cooperation in mutual legal assistance among Caribbean countries in respect of serious criminal matters and to combat criminal activity.

Entry into Force:

Article 28 - This Treaty shall enter into force upon the deposit of instruments of ratification or accession by at least five States in accordance with their respective constitutional procedures. …and shall be registered with the Secretary General of the United Nations.
