This Agreement provides for the establishment of a Standing Joint Commission which shall be responsible for the promotion and development of closer relations between the Parties in the political, trade, economic, scientific, technical and cultural fields. The Joint Commission shall have particular responsibility for the analysis and follow up of specific cooperation agreements concluded between the Parties.

Article IV – each contracting party will notify the other in writing through diplomatic channels when it has completed the formalities required for the entry into force of this Agreement. The Agreement will enter into force on the later of the two dates of receipt of such notification.
